The barn is situated on 22 acres of rolling meadows in the Western North Carolina Smokies. Initially built by local craftsmen it was used to fabricate and repair horse drawn carriages and wagons. In later years, it was used to re-mill lumber from old cabins and barns for use in new homes. The actual construction of the barn was featured in the March 1982 edition of Mother Earth News.
This charming barn has been lovingly restored and updated. Yet, it still retains its rustic and elegant feeling. This unique venue is the perfect place to create lasting memories of your wedding, family reunion, corporate event or any special gathering. Vintage Barn is now owned and locally operated.
